Bootstrappers Breakfast

Join Other Entrepreneurs Who Eat Problems For Breakfast.

Bootstrappers Breakfasts® are for founders of early stage technology startups. It is a chance to compare notes on operational, development, and business issues with peers. These breakfasts were designed for entrepreneurs to share ideas and leverage thoughts with other folks who are serious about growing their business.

Our focus is on issues for growing a business, not on VC fundraising. We promote the bootstrap business model.

Innovators & Entrepreneurs of MSP Meetup

A free informal weekly gathering for discussion and networking of business leaders, professionals, students, scientists, inventors and entrepreneurs.  1,900 members and about twenty attend a typical meeting.

Innovations and the creative process in products, business models and science are subjects of conversation. Sometimes there is a discussion topic, others a featured guest.  One session a month is over dinner at a local restaurant limited to six.

The goals are to connect innovators and entrepreneurs so we can learn from each other, make the journey more fun, and to support each others success.  Software, electronics, life sciences, med tech, services, products, materials, designs–innovators of a wide variety of value propositions participate. Both for-profit and non-profit entrepreneurs participate. Many are starting their second or third business. A partner in McKinsey & Company (NYC) turned up one evening. We have enjoyed meeting people from China, Korea, Saudi Arabia, Italy, India, Bangladesh and other countries. Many are newcomers to Minneapolis/St. Paul. Multi-generational, our age range has been 20 to 70+. Several investors make periodic visits for those of you looking for capital.

minne✱ : MinneDemo

MinneDemo is for real, working technology products made in Minnesota. Demos are 7 minutes long and PowerPoint IS NOT ALLOWED. Some have described it as geek show and tell. We like to think that geeks and those interested in what they are doing (i.e., investors, media organizations, etc) will enjoy an event centered on seeing what the local scene is up to and networking before, during, and afterward with food and drinks. It’s an energizing and informative evening.
